Five legs, one heart: what to check in your preview

Check the shape, face, colours and small marks that make the character yours, in both previews.

A purple five-legged figurine interpretation with a heart on its rectangular body

The five-legged character in the gallery has a rectangular body with an outlined heart on its front. Those are useful details to check when comparing the drawing with a preview. Your drawing will have its own: a particular smile, one long ear or a mark on the tummy.

Keep the drawing beside the preview

Look at the overall outline first, then move to the smaller details. Does the character still have the same pose? Are its arms and legs in the right places? Has an outlined shape been filled in?

  • Shape: compare the body, head, proportions and number of limbs.
  • Face: check the eyes, mouth and expression.
  • Colours: look at where each colour begins and ends.
  • Small marks: look for spots, hearts, stripes or other features that matter to you.

Check the 3D model separately

The 3D model is generated after you approve the image and choose a size. It can introduce differences, so approving the image is only the first check. Rotate the model to inspect the back and sides, and zoom in on the face and joins.

A flat drawing does not show every surface. Those areas need interpretation, and printing may require sufficient thickness or support. The workshop checks whether the design can be made after checkout.

If something important has changed

Pause before approving. Contact us about the detail you want to keep. The previews are there to help you decide; you do not have to continue to checkout.
